uTurn Ministry is part of the RadioMv Network. This policy explains what information we collect through uturnministry.com, what we do with it, and who we share it with. If anything here is unclear, write to us at Loading... and we will explain it.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- When you use our contact form: your name, your email address, your message, and — if you ask us to text you — your mobile number.
- When you tick the SMS box: a record that you agreed, with the date, time, the wording you agreed to, and the internet address (IP) the form came from. Mobile carriers require us to keep this proof of consent.
- When you use the chat window or browse the site: ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. Our web server keeps these records to keep the site running and secure.
- When you give: donations are handled by our giving provider on their own secure pages. We never see or store your card details.
How we use your information
- To answer you, by email, phone or text, depending on how you asked us to.
- To send the text messages you signed up for, as described under Text messages.
- To keep the proof of consent that mobile carriers require.
- To keep the site secure and to fix problems.
We do not use your information for automated decisions or profiling, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties. Your mobile number and your agreement to receive text messages from us are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates, and they are never used for anyone else's marketing.
We use a small number of service providers purely to deliver what you asked for: our web and email hosting, our text messaging provider, our chat provider, and our giving provider. They may only handle your information to provide that service to us. We also share information if the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS)
We only text people who asked us to, by ticking the box on our contact page. Ticking that box is never required to contact us or to give.
- What we send: replies to your message, ministry news and prayer updates, event and Marathon announcements, and donation confirmations.
- How often: messaging frequency may vary.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
- Stopping: you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or visit https://radiomv.com/.
- Our record: we keep your opt-in, and your opt-out, on our own server. It is not published anywhere and not shared.

How we protect your information
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions and consent records are stored on our server, outside the public website, and only people who run the ministry's website can read them. No system is perfect, but we keep what we hold to the minimum we need.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep our own records. We keep SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as we send text messages, and for a reasonable period afterwards, because carriers can ask us to show them.
Children's privacy
Our site is meant for adults and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Ask us to stop emailing you.
Write to Loading... and we will take care of it.
Cookies and similar technology
We do not use advertising cookies. The chat window and the Bible reference tool we embed may set their own cookies so they can work. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
