Founded in 2006, it operates internationally to "feed the hungry, clothe the needy, shelter the homeless, and stand with those suffering under oppression and poverty," in the words of its homepage. The ministry presents itself as one of three branches of a unified Great Commission strategy: 1. **RadioMv Network** — digital evangelism via Christian radio, music, and media in multiple languages. 2. **uTurn Ministry** — practical, on-the-ground compassion ministry: missions trips, missionary family support, partnership with native church planters and orphanages. 3. **uTurn Education** (en.uturn.education) — fully online Christian theological education covering life, family, ministry, and theology. The site states a Great-Commission focus rooted in Matthew 28:19-20 and a salvific anchor in Isaiah 45:22. ## Site structure - **Homepage** (`/`) — vision, three branches, where-we-serve grid, scripture, donation CTA. - **About / Mission / Statement of Faith / Get Involved / Contact** — institutional pages. - **Mission Fields** — country-level pages: Argentina, Macedonia, Myanmar, Peru, Yucatan. - **Families** — individual pages for missionary families that supporters can sponsor: Bishop Eduard Natekin, Paul Natekin, Lovin, Panov, Borisovets, Shulikov, plus a dedicated Spanish Ministry Director page. - **Resources** — practical short-term-missions prep: deciding to go, preparing your heart, packing list, safe travel, words to know, ten commandments for a trip, post-trip debriefing. - **Theological Touchstones** — ten short articles framing the theological underpinnings of mission work. - **Localized site versions** at `/ru/`, `/es/`, `/de/`. ## Audience - Christian individuals and families considering or supporting short-term missions. - Local-church missions committees evaluating partner organizations. - Donors looking to fund specific missionary families or fields. - Pastors and theological students researching mission practice. - Russian, Spanish, and German speakers seeking content in their language (each via subdirectory). ## Problem fit uTurn Ministry differentiates itself from generic mission-sending agencies by: - Being embedded in a media ecosystem (RadioMv) so missions activity, broadcasting, and online theological training reinforce one another. - Emphasizing native-led ministry — partnering with families who are already on the field rather than relocating Western personnel. - Offering a pipeline from awareness (radio) → formation (uTurn Education) → action (uTurn Ministry). - Providing concrete, named families that donors can support directly rather than only general-fund giving. ## Frequently Asked Questions **Q: Is uTurn Ministry a registered nonprofit?** The site presents uTurn Ministry as part of the RadioMv Network and operates as a Christian missions ministry.
